Congratulations to Liane!

Our thanks to everyone who offered support and good wishes to Liane at the cross country championships. We had a great time. The set up and organisation was fantastic and we were able to see every jump on the course from the hill close to the show jumping ring. She went clear in the show jumping phase and also clear in the cross country, despite a slight hic-up at the water when she lost a stirrup and it looked like he wasn’t going to get his feet wet!!

Anyway she got round OK but was a little slow on time and finished with 8 time penalties. Out of 85 starters she managed to finish a creditable 34^th. It was a great experience and she is keen to try and qualify again next year. There were cameramen all round the course and we have ordered the DVD and I am sure she will be willing to post on YouTube for anyone who might like to take a look.
