The Riding Club has
been established since 1980 and has affiliated to the BHS from that
date. We are based in
Ackworth, West Yorkshire with members from all over the region.
Currently we have over 100 members, Juniors and Seniors alike. We run events
throughout the year including member’s show jumping evenings, Show
jumping and Dressage training, Dressage competitions and qualifying
events for Area and National Championships.
Every year we run a
week long camp for members which is always well supported and great fun. We will be running
showing days and having lectures and demos on a variety of subjects. We have qualified
and will be entering teams for the Area 4 Hunter Trials, Ultimate
Showcase Show Jumping, Area 4 Show jumping and Yorvik Dressage
championships. We offer excellent
training days within a friendly and professional atmosphere with the
emphasis on fun and safety. If you wish to join
